Féilim James was delighted to have his short story ‘David in the Rain’ published in online UK literary journal The Fiction Pool, in September 2019. The story, one of his most experimental, employs a plethora of different styles to portray one evening in the life of David Kimani, a twenty-seven-year-old up-and-coming professional. His affair with an older colleague has ended, and, as he attempts to console himself with a burger from the chipper, he is confronted with racist derision from some youths.
Féilim would like to extend his warm thanks to The Fiction Pool for publishing this piece, which can be accessed here, alongside a number of quality stories.
